USB Disk Security is an application developed as a non-standard anti-virus application which helps protect your home PC against threats from USB devices such as trojans, malware or viruses hiding within the folders of a USB disk drive. The developers of this application promise to be able to locate and detect viruses from USB devices which standard Anti-virus software applications fail to detect.

USB Disk Security, however, is actually a pretty static and offline Antivirus software which can work with and at the same time as other antivirus products you might have running on your system.

The program promises to provide 100% protection against malware, though their claims of this are actually a little bit questionable as no one company can actually provide 100% protection against anything when it has to do with malicious software.

The program supports a variety of USB devices and indeed most that are recognized and viewable as a drive in Windows. This includes protection from USB Hard drives, flash disks, digital memory cards, thumb drives, portable Apple products and others.

USB Disk Security promises protection against malware on portable storage devices.

USB Disk Security is licensed as Shareware for the Windows operating system / platform from antivirus and can be used as a free trial until the trial period ends (after an unspecified number of days). The USB Disk Security 6.2.0.125 demo is available to all software users as a free download (Shareware) with potential restrictions and is not necessarily the download of the full version.
